Accomodations
All guests will live for the week at Casa Dulce Vida, a 10,000 sq ft house built on the hill in Puerto Vallarta. The Casa is divided into seven apartments, each complete with full kitchen, bath, living room, and terrace. The Casa is built with high ceilings and open arches above the doors, allowing a very effective system of airflow. The walls are very thick, creating a natural cooling system and quiet, peaceful environment. Please note that Casa Dulce Vida unfortunately is NOT wheelchair accessible.
Things to do
Vallarta is filled with wonderful things to do and see. Whether you would enjoy walking the city, relaxing on the beach, taking day trips by boat to neighboring ports, scuba diving, or surfing, there are many options. There are also a variety of shopping opportunities in the area. We are happy to help you make the most of your visit here. Please don't hesitate to ask us anything.
Places to eat
The Casa is within walking distance of many traditional, local cantinas and more modern Mexican establishments. Don't miss out on the local ice cream, which can be found at several shops along the Malacon (boardwalk). All apartments at the Casa are complete with gas range, refrigerator, coffee maker, bottled water, pots and pans. There are markets in the area in which to buy fresh food, making it possible to cook for yourself if you prefer. Two group dinners and daily breakfast are provided. Please let us know if you have specific dietary needs.
Weather
What can we say. Mexico is warm and sunny. You'll be visiting before the rainy season begins, and temperatures will be in the 80s and 90s during the day and in the high 70s at night. As the Casa sits high on a hill, we often experience refreshing sea breezes in the evening.
